Garden bloggers' bloom day March 2015

I may be late but many of my blooms are early this year. We have tulips already, for Pete's sake! The daphnes, hellebores, and Pieris are all still going, making this month feel especially floriferous.

    Tulips are my step mom's favorite. Those first one's are now my favorite :)

    Happy Belated Garden Bloggers Bloom Day! I have heard that you should remove the flowers from edible rhubarb. The prevailing wisdom is that the flowers take energy away from its effort to produce more leaves and stalks. Just sayin'...

    Beautiful specimens! I so wish I could grow tulips but I've promised myself I won't be tricked into trying them again - I can only imagine how they would have responded to our recent heatwave.

    Tulips in March, cool! I've seen more real tulips in bloom in your post than it is in Amsterdam at the moment :)

    Love that Fothergilla - I just got 'Mt. Airy' and hope it won't get too big. And I want to get a couple of blueberries: are you happy with 'Sunshine Blue'?

    Geez! I want flowers! The ribes is just killer and I love the UFO flowers of epimedium.

    Tamara's post of your garden was terrific. I didn't realize it had filled in so. I feel like one of its Aunties, having watched all the progress reports along the way. All your work is being rewarded with these spring beauties.
