I promise I'm not a creeper, but I had a dream about your light in your dining room the other night. I'm a weirdo. But that light is awesome.Meryl Rose Phillipsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-814656844817347020.post-36927157394448633592013-12-07T10:02:45.377-08:002013-12-07T10:02:45.377-08:00I'm going to throw in a vote for the brown. I love blues, all hues, but the brown really allows the artwork to pop.Jenni @ RainyDayGardenernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-814656844817347020.post-75910921998762517082013-12-06T18:26:08.263-08:002013-12-06T18:26:08.263-08:00I think the brown plays up the art more than the b...I think the brown plays up the art more than the blue color did. I have mixed feelings about the rug. It could end up looking too busy, although I have to say that I added a very colorful rug to our entry a few months ago and I love it.Kris Petersonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-814656844817347020.post-73535801287750584222013-12-06T17:26:17.326-08:002013-12-06T17:26:17.326-08:00I noticed you added art work that incorporates bl...I noticed you added art work that incorporates blue. I think french blue or another light to medium-ish blue would work better in that space. The brown seems to box it in rather than open it up.Casa Mariposanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-814656844817347020.post-11546304166106340822013-12-06T14:53:25.149-08:002013-12-06T14:53:25.149-08:00It's a nice shade of brown and goes well with ...It's a nice shade of brown and goes well with the door. You can always reintroduce blue into the scene by using a blue entrance mat, perhaps a striped one too. At least that's non committal and if it doesn't work you can easily change it.Markngaznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-814656844817347020.post-52031885105722948932013-12-06T08:18:33.424-08:002013-12-06T08:18:33.424-08:00Well, I like the brown much better than the blue, ...Well, I like the brown much better than the blue, especially since it's not so shiny. I like the mix of black and brown. The artwork looks great in there too. I too love the look of covering small spaces w/frames. Powder rooms are perfect for that, not so much a steamy bath and unfortch I only have the latter. Hallways and entryways are good gallery opportunities though and I like how it frees up living spaces.oidknoreply@blogger.com
