He hasn't killed it? (although I got it because they are pretty easy to take of.) I also have an addiction to houseplants which is probably self-evident! :)Wendy Boylesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-814656844817347020.post-60274742490441196222011-03-29T17:15:21.594-07:002011-03-29T17:15:21.594-07:00Anne, cyclamen is on that list! They don't like to be watered very often.

The author said that all of these plants evolved under deep canopy, so they don't need to be right next to a window. I think it's so funny that so many of us avid gardeners don't do well with houseplants. :)Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10404180898034770946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-814656844817347020.post-40703836182939296442011-03-29T16:35:36.915-07:002011-03-29T16:35:36.915-07:00Wow, this is so cool. I have a few in my office which stay alive thanks to a dutiful employee who waters them for me. We got a cyclamen as a memorial gift when we had to put Logan down earlier this year and I have officially not let it die yet. Yay me! That and this post make me want to try more. We have such a lack of surfaces near windows that I have sort of assumed that houseplants were out. But maybe we can make it work! I'm getting my hands on that book asap.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11016610733942886374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-814656844817347020.post-53628431589367851132011-03-29T09:57:37.164-07:002011-03-29T09:57:37.164-07:00I love house plants!
