I need these now.

Spotted at Lowe's. Please notice the chair for size reference. They
are PLANTERS. They are also $150 per boot. Damn it.

  3. You should definitely buy those. The big question though - what kind of flowers belong in a boot? I would like to think something that just sounds funny like a boot of begonias.

  4. So much potential. I love what Laura said about a boot of begonias. You would need to only grow GIANT versions of things in them due to their proportion. So if you did begonias, they'd have to be the mongo ones. (mongo is not a latin nor a scientific name: it's my word for fuckin' huge). Maybe like dinner plate dahlias, or huge sunflowers, monster cardoons, or maybe just big, huge singular cactus that would look like a big hairy leg. See? So much potential. They HAVE to go on sale, right?

  5. Oh my god, I didn't even think of that. What kind of flowers DON'T belong in a boot, really? ;) I'd want something not easily identified so I could say, "Hang a left at the geraniums . . . they're hot pink with the circular leaves . . . you see those ones there? The ones that smell of handsoap. Oh, I guess they ARE in a giant fake cowboy boot."
